Getting Started with Your Murf Electric Bike
Welcome to the Murf family! Whether you've just unboxed your first e-bike or you're a seasoned rider looking to get the most out of your Murf, this guide covers everything you need to know.
Unboxing and Setup
Your Murf arrives partially assembled. Here's what to do first:
- Attach the handlebars — align and torque to spec
- Install the front wheel — quick-release or bolt-on depending on your model
- Charge the battery — first charge should be a full cycle (4–6 hours)
- Download the Murf app — connect via Bluetooth for ride stats and settings
Your First Ride
Start on flat terrain to get a feel for the assist levels. Most Murf models have 5 assist levels — we recommend starting at 2 or 3.
Pro tip: Use eco mode on flat sections and boost mode for climbs. You'll get significantly more range.
Trail Etiquette
E-bikes are welcome on most multi-use trails, but always check local regulations. Yield to hikers, slow down around horses, and keep it fun for everyone.
Happy riding! 🌊🚴
